Lunch at Rosetta Ristorante

There are some great Italian restaurants in Melbourne, but Rosetta Ristorante has, and always will be, my favourite. Every time I sit on those plush, burnt red sofas, I feel so comfortable and relaxed. Looking around at incredible interior, you sometimes forget that you are even in Melbourne. The same can be said with the Italian jazz music that makes the perfect background for conversation amongst family and friends. But my favourite part about the restaurant has to be the vintage black and white prints of classic Italian icons like Sofia Loren, which fit together like a jigsaw puzzle.

I returned to Rosetta with my family most recently, and while I was there, I decided I would share my experience with you all through a visual diary, entailing everything that I ate!

We began with some starters to share, including the Grigliata Mista di Mare (grilled mixed seafood) and Calamari.

We then each ordered our own main meals. I had the Tortello Campano, which were filled with fresh ricotta.

It was then time for dolci, or desserts. Whenever I visit Rosetta, there is only one dessert I get every single time…

The best Sicilian ricotta cannoli that you will try in Melbourne!

So the next time you are looking for a restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, or want quality Italian food, be sure to visit Rosetta Ristorante.
