On the 2nd of January 2015, I created Frenchy by Chelsea Elizabeth. Two years later and Frenchy has become everything I hoped for and more!
Each year Frenchy’s aesthetic has changed, just as I have evolved and delved into different areas of interest. Nevertheless, I am so proud to be a part of my own online world where I can express myself so honestly, and in such a welcoming community.
In this post I would like to reflect on all that happened in Frenchy’s second year, in what I would like to call Yearbook Two…

Like every year, 2016 was filled with ups and downs. The positives definitely outweighed any negatives as I travelled around the world (independently), and focused on myself. I also had the opportunity to collaborate with others, photograph Melbourne’s best festive attractions, and not to mention see Usain Bolt in the flesh at the Crown Oaks Club Luncheon.
With every year of blogging comes more and more insight. I learnt so much during Frenchy’s second year as I created more video content and ventured into travel blogging too!
In Frenchy’s third year, I hope to continue this growth by:
- Filming more videos
- Creating more approachable and practical content (think more tips and tricks for keeping savvy)
- Sending out regular newsletters – sign up here
- Continuing to stay true to who I am
I would like to take this chance to thank you for playing such an important role in all things Frenchy. Whether you read the blog, follow me on Instagram, Twitter, or Frenchy’s Facebook page, your support means the world to me.
I would also like to thank Georgia Zulian for providing the quirky and playful illustrations pictured above. If you would like custom illustrations by Georgia, contact her via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or follow her on Instagram.
Warm wishes to you all and may Frenchy’s third year be just as good as its second,
Chelsea Elizabeth xx
