Travel Journal – Málaga

Day 12 – Málaga

On our 12th day of the cruise, we docked in Málaga. We had not planned anything for the day, which allowed us to all have a sleep in. Instead of overloading our itinerary with activities, we decided to lay by the beach ALL day.

The water was crystal clear, and the beach was filled with ship-goers and locals alike. This place was AMAZING and like no other!

In the afternoon, we went for a walk along the promenade and found an ice-cream stand. Magnum anyone?

That night we enjoyed another dinner at one of the premium restaurants. This time we tried Tuscan Grill, which offered some of our favourite Italian dishes like Eggplant Parmigiana. We really loved it there, and afterwards headed to a party onboard, which celebrated all things 80s.

Day 13 – Sea

For our last full day, we were at sea. We enjoyed another quiet and relaxing day – our last one together.

On that day, I woke up early to get a manicure and pedicure and then met the others for breakfast at Oceanview Cafe. We then went back to our rooms and packed our bags. #sadtimes

In the afternoon we met up at Bacio, an Italian pasticceria where I enjoyed my last chai latte. We could not believe how fast the time on our cruise had gone, and were definitely going to miss it all.

Our last dinner was spent at Ocean Liners, and afterwards we all said our goodbyes. I could not believe it was all over…

A big thank you to Bella and her family for such a special trip filled with memories that I will always cherish.

Stay tuned for the next Travel Journal on Birmingham.
